Helen Fairs, a secretary in the Personal Injury department, recently
participated in a novice Triathlon to raise funds for
Breast Cancer
Care.
Helen raised £420 in sponsorship for
completing the race on Saturday 9 July 2011 at Dorney Lakes,
Eton.
Breast Cancer Care is a
UK charity organisation that aims to provide everyone affected by
breast cancer with the best treatment, information and support
available.
Breast Cancer Care
combines the personal experiences of people affected by breast
cancer with clinical expertise to campaign for improvement in
standards of support and care and promote the importance of early
detection.
Helen was pleased to finish the race in 38
minutes and 3 seconds, beating her goal finishing time of 50-55
minutes, and coming 22nd out of 70 in her age group.
