Our Asbestos Claims Group not only specialise in obtaining compensation for sufferers of asbestos disease, but have successfully raised over £40,000 for St Bart’s mesothelioma research to find a cure for mesothelioma.

In September 2003, we organised an event at St Bartholomew’s Hospital where musicians and performers entertained the guests with a medley of household hits by performers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin.

Siren, the string quartet who performed at the fundraising event for mesothelioma research Lord Hutton and many other eminent lawyers and doctors attended the event, which raised in excess of £20,000.

On 25 November 2006, we organised another event and the guests were entered by Siren, one of Europe’s most versatile string quartets.  This event raised over £22,000.

Jill Greenfield was part of a successful campaign for compensation for British victims of terrorism abroad. Previously, only victims who had suffered injuries in the United Kingdom could claim compensation but after a four year campaign the Government has introduced a scheme to compensate British citizens who are injured in terrorist attacks while they are abroad. The firm was nominated for a pro bono award in May 2010 for its work on this campaign.
