to agree a settlement for Mark who had developed mild pleural thickening and mild asbestosis in the global sum of £30,000. Mark

his condition previously from a senior consultant chest
physician who diagnosed pleural plaques and stated Mark had no
injury for which he could make a claim.
We arranged for a CT
scan to be performed on Mark and sought a second opinion
from a leading chest physician in London who reviewed the
scan, undertook lung function tests and diagnosed pleural
thickening and mild asbestosis. This enabled the claim to be
settled by the Mark's previous employers liability insurers.
