Pleural plaques consultation response
The consultation process
considers the option for restoring the right to compensation
for pleural plaques which was removed by the Lords last year.
FFW lawyers have been
involved in fighting the test cases to retain the
right to compensation for pleural plaques sufferers. Pleural plaques
are scarring of the lining of the lungs caused by the
asbestos fibres penetrating the wall of the lungs.
