Work accident cases
27 February 2008
On the 13 December 2005, a Romanian labourer was injured at work. Having been instructed by his
foreman to collect waste materials in a large open shed, a large
digger with a huge shovel with a sharp blade collided into the
Claimant. The shovel hit both legs causing agonising and life
changing injuries. Unfortunately, Nicolai had a left below knee
amputation.
In June 2003 Mr M suffered an injury at
work. He was employed by the Defendant as the operator of a
CNC (computer numerical controlled) lathe.
